The Detailed Itineray of 15 Days Masai Mara Safari, Gorilla Trek Uganda & Tanzania
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara & Afternoon Game Drive.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi and begin your journey to Masai Mara with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley which spans from the North to Southern Kenya. You will take in the magnificent views and take some photos.
If you suppose, you will be able to visit the curio shops here and buy some souvenir.
Proceed with the drive to Masai Mara arriving in good time for lunch and head out for the afternoon game drive with chances of encountering the giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, buffalos and elephants among others.
Return for dinner and overnight stay at Enchoro Wildlife Camp
Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day
Early breakfast followed by a full day of game drive within the reserve.
Masai Mara is renowned for its high animal concentration and abundance. Black-manned lions, elephants and buffalo can be seen (3 out of the big 5) though luck is essential for spotting leopard and rhino, which make the other two.
The reserve is essentially the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and is home to numerous plains game including wildebeest, common zebra and the Masai giraffe as well as antelopes like Thompson’s gazelle, hartebeest, impala and dik dik among others.
You will have a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool where hippos are in view and with luck, crocodiles. Return to the for dinner and overnight stay at Enchoro Wildlife Camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara Full Day & Masai Village Tour
Morning game viewing in the Mara and a visit to the Masai village.
The Masai Mara, now The New 7the wonder of the world and 4th preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine.
The most spectacular event of the natural world takes place here; The annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the predators of the savanna; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture.
It hosts over 450 species of animals which include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. Dinner and overnight at Enchoro Wildlife Camp as above.
Day 4: Transfer to Kampala in Uganda
Have early morning breakfast and embark on the long drive to Kampala, crossing into Uganda through Busia boarder with lunch en-route and arriving late evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Forest Cottages.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable
You will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park with a stopover at the Equator for photos and lunch en-route in Mbarara city. Proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening.
Overnight: Rushaga Gorilla Camp
Meals: Half Board
Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi
Breakfast will be served early and lunch will be packed. The briefing is at 7 am. Your guide will give you highlights of specific details about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking. The hike can take anything from one to seven hours.
Trekking through the thick forested hills of Bwindi and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment. Once you reach the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away.
Upon completion of this magical encounter, you will drive back to the lodge where you can relax in the afternoon or go for another walk to visit one of the communities around.

Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi Tour
Enjoy breakfast and drive to Lake Bunyonyi where you will arrive in good time for lunch and enjoy a motorised canoe tour, visiting the different Islands and relax for the evening.
Dinner and overnight stay at Bunyonyi Rock Resort.
Day 8: Transfer Mwanza.
You will have early morning breakfast and drive to Mwanza – Tanzania with lunch en-route and several stopovers to stretch your legs. Proceed to Mwanza arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Malaika Beach Resort
Day 9: Serengeti National Park.
Enjoy breakfast and embark on a drive to Serengeti national park for a game drive and lunch. The Northern sector is known for its masculine lions and you will also encounter a great number of other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge
Day 10: Hot Air Balloon & Full Day Serengeti Game Drive
You will enjoy breakfast and go for hot air balloon ride in Serengeti and a full day game drive with picnic lunch in the Serengeti national park exploring herds of wildlife! Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge as above.
Day 11: Serengeti Game Drive & Transfer to Ngorongoro
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer to Ngorongoro crater with picnic lunch and en-route game drive. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.
Day 12: Full Day Ngorongoro Crater
You will enjoy breakfast and go for a full day exploration of the Ngorongoro crater. This is the best place to see the big five (Leopard, Rhino, Lion, Elephant and Bufallo). Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 13: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
Breakfast will be served early and depart Ngorongoro for Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is located along the foot of the great east African rift valley’s western escarpment and has a massive but shallow soda lake which covers two-thirds of the park.
The park attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, the unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos which are attracted by the algae in the lake. Dinner and overnight stay at Karatu Safari camp
Day 14: Full Day at Lake Manyara National Park.
Enjoy breakfast and head out for a full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch. Return to Karatu in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Karatu Safari Camp as above.
Day 15: Transfer to Arusha / Kilimanjaro & Departure.
Have breakfast and embark on the drive to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport for your onward flight.
