During this 15-day safari through Africa, you will see the mountain gorillas in Rwanda, Masai Mara Game Reserve, and Victoria Falls. Starting in Kenya’s Maasai Mara, the tour will take you by plane to Rwanda’s Kigali, often known as the Land of a Thousand Hills. From there, you’ll go to one of the only three places on Earth where you can see the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Among the many must-see attractions in Rwanda are the country’s volcanoes National Park, its Batwa communities, where you can immerse yourself in Rwandan culture, and its genocide memorials, where you can learn about the country’s tragic history as a victim of the 1994 genocide. You will travel to Zambia after your visit to Rwanda so that you can see the world-famous Victoria Falls from both the Zambian and Zimbabwean perspectives.

Detailed Itinerary of the 15 Days Maasai Mara, Rwanda Gorillas and Victoria Falls.
Day 1&2: Arrival in Nairobi.
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will meet with our experienced English speaking driver guide who will welcome you to the East African Country of Kenya and brief you about your time during Kenya and he/she will be the only person who will handle you during your stay in Kenya.
After briefing, you will exit the Airport and embark on a city tour in Nairobi while on your way to your lodge. During your Stay in Nairobi, you will visit the Elephant Orphanage by Shadrack, and also visit the Giraffe Conservation to experience the conservation of the creatures and feed them personally before entering a thrilling African Safari Mood in the Maasai Mara.
Day 3-6: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
After an early morning breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation in Nairobi and your guide will transfer you to Maasai Mara by car to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the countryside while enjoying Kenya’s beauty.
In this 15 days Maasai Mara, Rwanda Gorillas and Victoria falls safari, this will be your first wildlife destination out of town meaning it will be a long and memorable distance.
African Elephants, giraffes, buffalo, impalas, leopards, and wild dogs all call Maasai Mara home. Night drives are allowed in the Mara North Conservancy, increasing the likelihood of encounters with elusive species like genet cats and white-tailed mongoose, and the fact that you are unlikely to meet any other cars makes it an even more attractive game viewing destination than the central region. Follow the tracks of wild animals and master the specialized bushcraft that the Maasai people have used for centuries. You can explore the mountains, springs, and woods of this unspoiled environment on a walking safari that is customized to your interests and fitness level.
Day 7: Transfer to Kigali
After experiencing the famous Maasai Mara, you will be transferred by your guide to the nearest Airstrip for a chartered flight from Maasai to Kigali.
On arrival in Kigali, you will meet a different but well experienced local guide who will guide in all activities that you have in Rwanda. On arrival, you will be briefed about Rwanda as your second destination and after the briefing you will transfer to the lodge for lunch and a little relaxation before going for your city tour in Kigali.
After lunch you will go for a city tour where you will visit the bustling and one of the cleanliest capital cities in Africa. While on your city tour you will visit some of the memorial sites of Rwanda that consist of the history of Rwanda for example the Genocide memorials like the Gisozi Genocide memorial. Where you will learn all the rough past of Rwanda during the 1994 Genocide. After the tour you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Day 8-11: Gorilla Trekking and Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes National Park.
You will transfer to volcanoes National Park for your gorilla Trek and Golden Monkey trek. On arrival in Musanze you will transfer to your lodge and have a rest for the coming activities in the next days.
The remaining days on your trip in Rwanda will be fun while enjoying incredible activities Volcanoes National Park has to offer like Gorilla Trekking and Golden Monkey trekking. You will also take part in the Cultural visit in one of the evenings by visiting the gorilla Guardians village also Know as Ibyi’Iwacu Cultural Village which was founded by the Batwa people who were former hunters and now are also taking part in the conservation success of Rwanda. After your visit in Volcanoes National Park, you will transfer back to Kigali for an overnight and a flight to Zimbabwe for your next adventure.
Day 12-15: Transfer to Victoria Falls
Your journey today takes you to Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, you’ll be taken to your lodge, which provides first-rate lodgings along the Zambezi River, just upstream from the majestic Falls.
Take use of the remaining time today and tomorrow to explore Victoria Falls at your leisure. Indulge in white-water rafting on the Zambezi River or bungee jumping from Victoria Falls Bridge—the reason this place is called Africa’s Adventure Capital. Along with a leisurely sun-downer cruise aboard the Lady Livingstone, your program also includes a flight over the Falls.
Canoe rides down the Zambezi River, safaris on elephant back, animal drives, and market shopping are among of the other options. Visit Victoria Falls on foot to soak in the breathtaking scenery; the months of March through May see the highest water levels.
