Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the lodge in Arusha

On arrival you will be warmly welcomed by our professional guide, who will brief you about this 4-day luxury Tanzania safari and then transfer you to your lodge. In case your flight arrives early, you will get a chance to experience the city tour in the majestic town of Arusha with its diverse culture and unique way of life you will learn about, then transfer to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Fly to Seronera airstrip for a game drive.

Our driver will take you from your Arusha hotel to the airport for your flight to Seronera Airstrip. When you arrive in the Serengeti, your safari guide will be ready to take you on an adventure in the Masaai people’s endless plains. The central Serengeti is where you’re most likely to spot a cheetah or another large predator.

There will be times when you encounter a herd of mammals or some other fantastic natural creatures. The Seronera River Valley and Central Serengeti constitute the “heart” of the Serengeti’s wildlife population at all times of the year. The “Big Five” and other species of wildlife call this area “home” year-round. Later that day, after dinner, you’ll head to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Final game drive and hot air balloon safari in the Serengeti and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater.

The final game drive in the Serengeti National Park will be captured in vivid detail after a substantial breakfast, and you will also experience a hot air balloon safari where you will watch the wildlife from another perspective.

After the game drive and the hot air balloon safari, you’ll have a picnic lunch in the presence of the big five surrounding you in the wilderness and then head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the night before making your way down to the crater floor in the morning. It is possible to observe the crater from a distance on the approach to the Ngorongoro Crater rim.

Day 4: Game drive on the crater floor and transfer back to the airport.

Today will be fantastic as you make your way down to the bottom of the 102-mile-wide (264-kilometer-wide) crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the only known example of a complete, unfilled, and dormant volcano on Earth. The depth of this enormous crater is nearly a mile. Nearly 20,000 large mammals and several small wild creatures live in the Ngorongoro Crater.

You’ll pack a picnic lunch and spend the day in the crater.
