This 3-day safari from Zanzibar offers a comprehensive opportunity to witness the Big Five animals in Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. This approach eliminates the need for extended periods spent traveling. You will travel directly to Arusha, then go to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and finally Lake Manyara. Afterward, you will fly back to Zanzibar.

Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Zanzibar and then go on a game drive in Tarangire National Park.

You will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport in the early hours. Your estimated arrival time at Arusha Airport is around 9:00 am. Once acquainted with the guide, you will go on a comprehensive full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park.

At the picnic location, you will have the opportunity to have a warm meal during midday, while being surrounded by monkeys and baboons, all while enjoying a magnificent view of the Tarangire River.

Following lunch, you will continue the game drive until nightfall, then depart from the park and drive to the Lodge for supper and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Embark on a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater.

Following your breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a day-long wildlife excursion to Ngorongoro Crater. While driving towards the crater, you will traverse breathtaking landscapes and little rural communities.

Upon arrival at the crater, you will partake in a game drive, providing you with the opportunity to observe a diverse range of animals, including as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and the critically endangered black rhino. In the evening, you will climb up the crater and then proceed to the lodge for dinner and spend the night there.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park and transfer to Zanzibar via air.

Following breakfast, you will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park to embark on a comprehensive wildlife drive that will last the entire day. While traveling to the park, you will encounter awe-inspiring vistas that will leave you feeling amazed. Upon reaching the park, you will commence a game drive across the savannah, allowing you to observe a diverse range of wildlife, including the renowned tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and numerous other species.

Following an exhilarating wildlife drive at Lake Manyara, you will be transported back to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport to catch your return flight to Zanzibar.
