Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and greeted by your personal Tanzania guide, who will say, ‘Karibu Tanzania meaning welcome to Tanzania!’ Our guide will then direct you directly to your accommodation, allowing you to unwind and immerse yourself in the African ambiance. In the evening, the guide will then escort you on a private safari enabling you to see a number of animals. From there he will drive you to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park.
Famous attractions of Tarangire National Park include herds of elephants and an abundance of towering baobab trees. These trees can endure for centuries, and elephants use a unique method to extract water from them during the dry season. Also, during the dry season, the Tarangire River is the sole water source in the area, thus it’s not uncommon to witness herds of 250 elephants and countless other species in Tarangire during this time!
Day 3 – 4: Serengeti National Park (central west/east)
The Great Migration travels through Serengeti National Park, making it famous as a safari destination. Over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, one thousand leopards, 3,500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs reside here, which is spectacular in and of itself, but the massive, stampeding herds are even more so. And there are a plethora of other stunning creatures that you and your guide can look for.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area (incl. Crater)
Among the seven natural beauties of Africa are the well-known Ngorongoro Crater. Two million years ago, a large volcano erupted creating the crater. Now the biggest number of creatures discovered anywhere in Africa, the rich lava has produced a special ecology! Once in the crater, thousands of creatures including lions, zebras, buffalos, and black rhinos surround you and the views are breathtaking.
Day 6: Relaxing day in Manyara Best View Lodge
An ideal spot to relax in between safaris is the Manyara Best View Lodge, which is located close to Lake Manyara National Park. Spend the day lounging in the lodge’s infinity pool, taking in the breathtaking scenery and the excellent service. On the other hand, you might venture out and explore the numerous nearby activities, such as mountain biking, visiting a local market, hiking along the Great Rift Valley wall or the lake, or going on a night game drive. Make your own decision!
Day 7: Flight to Zanzibar (included in the price)
Zanzibar, the spice island, is your destination today. Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting to transport you to your accommodation. Beaches with powdery white sand, blue seas with a prism of clarity, and thriving coral reefs are all within your reach in the days ahead. Involved with the arts? The next stop should be Stone village, where you may learn all about the intriguing history of this little village.
