Day 1: Fly from Arusha to Tarangire
For those who enjoy wildlife or independent travel, you will set out on a trip to Tarangire National Park, an undiscovered gem in Africa.
Tarangire provides a wide spectrum of topographical elements. Massive termite mounds and old baobab trees abound on the ground. The sun dries the surroundings during the dry season, which gives the ground a dusty red color. On the other hand, the rainy season brings the expansion of plenty of high grasses and thick vegetation.
Among the various wildlife species living here are giraffes, waterbucks, baboons, dwarf mongoose, buffalo, antelopes, fringe-eared oryx, and zebras, wildebeests. Its huge elephant count is well-known. Carnivorous animals such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards hunt and eat other animals.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Back to Arusha
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is well-known as one of the best places in Africa for watching animals since the floor of the crater receives a regular water supply. Your journey starts when you drop 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater. Watch lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, spotted hyenas, buffalo, zebras, elands, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, and other vulnerable species as well as magnificent elephants with long tusks.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area boasts over 500 different bird species. Enjoy your last evening back in Arusha.
