Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Central Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha very early in the morning, and then we will drive to the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is one of the top wildlife spots in the world. An afternoon game drive at Serengeti follows home to more than 35 species of plains animals, such as zebra, wildebeest, eland, and giraffe, among many others.

The park is the staging zone for one of the most spectacular events in the world: the annual migration of wildebeest. This commences around June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle head for the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of greener pasture. They are followed closely by the predators of the savanna—lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures. The Serengeti also has over 500 species of birds
This safari will take us via Olduvai Gorge. This is the prehistoric site where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of the first human being, which is regarded as mankind’s first path of human evolution.

After breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to explore the central part of Serengeti. This part of the national park is well-known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the “big five,” named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. You will enjoy wildlife sightings on your game drives and the hot air balloon, where you will see Serengeti’s wildlife from another perspective in this wildlife-rich area before heading back for dinner and an overnight stay at your already booked accommodation.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater floor drive and transfer to Arusha for departure.
The other top destination on this safari is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will start with an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater floor, where you will make incredible sightings that you won’t even believe. In the crater floor is the only area in Africa where you find the highest concentration of predators and their prey in a small area.
