Morning Pickup & Briefing.
We will pick you up from your lodge in Arusha and transport you to Arusha National Park early in the morning. The park’s exceptional diversity of plant and animal life is certain to impress. During your day excursion, you will have the opportunity to encounter several species of animals at the Ngurdoto Crater, including baboons, zebras, buffalo, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, and other diverse species. One can witness a wide variety of bird species and, if lucky, spot Colobus monkeys. The Momella Gate, located immediately after the main entry, is where your walking safari will begin. A park ranger, armed, will follow you during the safari.
An experienced ranger will accompany you on a guided walking safari, providing you with the opportunity to observe the animals from a close distance. Before proceeding with your exploration of Arusha National Park in the afternoon, you will partake in a midday meal at a designated picnic area. We’ll take you back to Arusha once you’ve had enough opportunities to see the wildlife.
Ngurdoto Crater Game Drive
Your first stop is the Ngurdoto Crater rim, sometimes called “Little Ngorongoro.” Here, the closed volcanic bowl’s lush walls contrast with the marshy floor, a magnet for buffalo, zebra, warthogs, and birds. Game drive along the rim road for close encounters and scenic photography.
Forest Walk & Colobus Monkeys
