Additionally, this park near Arusha is renowned for its profusion of tropical birds. The park boasts a lake, several craters, waterfalls, mountains, and lovely green plains.

The stunning waterfalls of Mount Meru are one such option. Just a short stroll will bring you to this spot, where you can cool yourself in the waterfall’s icy water. Enjoy your meal in peace as you listen to the birdsong and follow the flow of the water. On your way back, keep an eye out for the fascinating Colobus monkey or the Silvery Cheeked Hornbill.
Day 5: Tarangire National Park.
Enjoy your morning breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park a park that has got famous attractions including herds of elephants and an abundance of towering baobab trees. These trees can endure for centuries, and elephants use a unique method to extract water from them during the dry season. Also, during the dry season, the Tarangire River is the sole water source in the area, thus it’s not uncommon to witness herds of 250 elephants and countless other species in Tarangire during this time!
Day 6 – 7: Serengeti National Park (central west/east).
Enjoy your morning breakfast and drive to Serengeti National Park a park famous for being a stop along the route of the Great Migration. Serengeti National Park has become synonymous with safaris. The predator population is immense, with over 4,000 lions, 225 cheetahs, 1,000 leopards, 3,500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs! The enormous stampeding herds are spectacular, too. Not to mention a plethora of other stunning creatures that your knowledgeable guide will be happy to spot beside you.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Conservation Area (incl. Crater)
Ngorongoro Crater is a world-renowned natural wonder and one of seven in Africa. Two million years ago, a massive volcano erupted, leaving behind a crater. The most diverse array of animals seen in Africa has made its home in this one-of-a-kind habitat, which was formed by the rich lava. Once within the crater, you will be overwhelmed by the sight of thousands of animals, including lions, zebras, buffalo, and black rhinos.
