Arrival at Dar-es-salaam and Transfer to Nyerere National Park by Air

On arrival in Dar-es-Salaam at Julius Nyerere International Airport, you will meet our company representative, who will brief you about the 12-day luxury Tanzania family safari and also escort you to your flight to Nyerere National Park. Nyerere National Park is about a 45-minute flight from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s bustling capital in the south.

The park is three times the size of South Africa’s famous Kruger National Park and is also home to the continent’s greatest and least-hunted concentrations of wildlife species. While on safari in Nyerere National Park, you won’t have to worry about running into other visitors too often since the park is not often visited according to its size.

Due to its exceptional topography and since this safari is a family safari, children can enjoy various game activities, from boat rides on the river to game drives in open-sided cars, all while seeing a variety of species. After the early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the airstrip in an open sided jeep or all weather landcruiser while viewing the Selous game reserve for the last time in your safari. You will fly from the Nyerere National for a journey to Ruaha National Park for a 1-hour and 30-minute flight.

On arrival in Ruaha National Park, you will start to compare the wet and green Nyerere to the dry and arid Ruaha, with its savannah flats, rocky outcrops, and eerie baobab trees. Tanzania’s Ruaha National Park is home to an abundance of elephants, a popular attraction for visitors of all ages.

You will enjoy game drives in open-sided vehicles, which make up the bulk of your twice-daily activities. However, adults of 16 years and above can also go on walking safaris. Visitors of all ages will enjoy the park’s abundant wildlife, which includes lions, elephants, leopards, and crocodiles.

You will be picked up at the Zanzibar airport by our driver guide and taken to your all-inclusive resort on the beach, where you will spend the following 2 nights. It takes about an hour to drive from the airport to Paje Beach in the lush gardens along a long stretch of white sand beach on the island’s eastern coast.

During the day, you will explore the eastern coast of Zanzibar in full swing. You will enjoy the beach and its related activities, like swimming with the turtles, scuba diving, and having lunch in the rock restaurant in Zanzibar.   You will also get time to visit the Jozani forest to watch the rare red colobus monkeys of Zanzibar and lots of bird species endemic to the island.

Transfer from Paje beach to Nungwi and Kendwa Beach

On this day you wake early in the morning for breakfast and then check out from the resort for the journey along the long-stretched sand beaches to the northern corner of the island in the heart of scuba divers and also pass via the spice garden to enjoy a lot of flavors of spices. On arrival you will check in at your reserved hotel.

The 3 nights to be spent at Nungwi and Kendwa Beach will be memorable as you enjoy the top activities on your bucket list. Here in Kendwa, you will enjoy skydiving on top of the island, village tours, and sunbathing on the sandy beaches.
