Cancellation Policy

COVID-19 Important Information

Our tours continue to operate throughout Africa

With the current situation where every country treats COVID rules differently, so we strongly emphasize that our clients should obey the COVID rules of any respective country, Given the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, if you decide to cancel your tour we completely understand , in case your  tour date is booked with us and you opt to cancel due to COVID straights , we advise you to let us know as soon as possible since some activities can not wait  for example;  gorilla trekking needs immediate updates to Uganda wildlife authority, our cancellation fees would normally apply, in this instance here at Active African vacations, our cancellation policy on gorilla permits is still open for reschedules up to end of 2022 at no additional costs,

Amendment to Cancellation Terms & Conditions

Tours departing from 17 March 2020

For cancellations of tours due co COVID constraints, we shall be offering you free survive to reschedule your permits or to postpone the trip to future date.

Terms & Conditions:

Much as we try by all means to have your tour done, Active African vacations is not liable for any illness, damages, loss, delay illness  or failure to be on our vacations due to acts of nature or any acts that are beyond our contral instead, we advise you to have insurance coverage just to be on safe side

Cancellation by the traveler:

Active African Vacations (safaris ) – Cancellations within 1-2 weeks  or failure to show up wil automatically result into  100% full fare forfeiture. Cancellation 3 to 4 weeks to departure will result in a 50% loss of the ticket price safari , please note the cancellations  fees does not cover the amount paid for gorilla permit

Cancellation by Active African vacations:

Combined tours that cover multiple countries, safaris, – some times we may cancel a safari any time due to various reasons within 2 months a safari can be cancelled  for various reasons such as boarder crossing, political instabilities,, disasters, natural calamities a refund will be paid back to you less the amount paid on gorilla permits and accommodations..

By booking a safari with active African vacations, are you’re agreeing with our terms and conditions regarding your privacy and Active African vacations can contact you by email or by phone call  any time for official reasons and the company is free to use or share some of your photos on their websites or other social media platforms for marketing purposes.
