Day 1: Arrival At Entebbe International Airport

Get ready to embark on an incredible journey through Uganda as you take an flight to Entebbe International Airport, and spend a night in Kampala the capital. On arrival you will meet up with one of our professional, friendly English speaking guide who will pick you at the Airport and take you to your hotel for an overnight and res from the long flight.

Day 2: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale forest National Park.

Your guide will wake you up and give you the rundown on your 11-day Classic safari in Uganda. He will then take you to Kibale Forests National Park so you may unwind at the lodge in the African rainforest. Lots of interesting things are about to happen. Because of the amazing diversity of landscapes and creatures found there as a result of the meeting point of West African jungles and East African savannahs, Winston Churchill once referred to Uganda as “the Pearl of Africa”.

Day 3-5: Cultural Visits, Chimp Trekking and Walking Safaris in Kibale National Park.

12 primate species, including red colobus monkeys and chimpanzees, call Kibale Forest National Park home. More than 300 bird species make this area their home, and they all use the thick canopy for nesting. The following days will be filled with guided hikes into the verdant jungle, where you will have the opportunity to observe and identify the various screeches and squawks that inhabit the area.

Not forgetting the Main activity that brought us in this Park, you will embark on Chimpanzee trekking and also take part in other activities like the Bigodi Swamp walk for birding walks, you will also do some cultural activities like visiting the local beer maker.

Day 6: Transfer from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Continuing your journey, you will reach Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned as one of the world’s top birding locations. With an estimated 600 species calling the park home, the morning chorus is sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime event.  But queen Elizabeth isn’t just famous for birding but it also hosts the famous Tree climbing lions of Ishaha sector and an abundant of Wildlife.

Day 7-8: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Of all the things to do in Queen Elizabeth, birdwatching is undoubtedly the most popular, but this breathtaking wilderness really has it all. Observing hippos from a boat on the Kazinga Channel is a must, as is going on a guided hike among the fig trees to spot the elusive tree-climbing lion. Along the valley bottom, you’ll find the ever-popular Crater Drive.

 

If you go south of the park, you’ll see a shift in landscape and maybe even spot the renowned tree climbing lions, which love to play in the fig trees.

Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

The stunning Bwindi National Park, home to almost half of all mountain gorillas in the world, is the next destination on your Ugandan adventure. Unquestionably one of the greatest travel experiences of life is seeing these extraordinarily rare and amazing animals in their natural habitat. You will traverse the endless Savannah of Queen Elizabeth through the Fig trees of Ishaha and enter the mountainous and beautiful scenery of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 10-11: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Kigali for departure.

At this point of your Uganda Safari the experts and knowledgeable guides at the park gates will venture with you far into the forest in search of these incredibly strong and endearingly playful Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat. It’s an honor that not many people get to experience this incredible adventure. Even though you’re limited to just one hour with a habituated group due to mandatory permissions, that hour will be the most intense of your life. Two hikes allow you to make the most of your time with these incredible Creatures.

On the next day you will have a cultural tour to the local Batwa communities who will tell you  more about how they used to live in harmony with the mountain Gorillas and after the cultural tour you will embark on a journey through a thousand hills to Rwanda Kigali for your flight back home.
