Ishasha Wilderness Camp is awarded a Certificate of Excellence for its superb accommodation and exceptional service.

It is located next to the Ntungwe River and features ten spacious canvas tented rooms, each with a private verandah overlooking the river and large mosquito-netted beds.

Its thatched central lounge and dining area provide a comfortable setting for great meals and relaxation. In the evening, guests relax at the outdoor fireplace with sundowners and share their day’s experiences.

During day and night animals pass through the camp. Elephants can be seen bathing in the river, and buffalos enjoy grazing. You also see resident troops of Black-and-White Colobus and vervet monkeys. The security staff is always available to escort and assist you when you feel like the wild animals are very close.
